268 meters high. That’s how high (or low) the less prominent Sundsheia mountain is in Lofoten. However, the unimpressive height does not detract from the breathtaking 360-degree panorama. All of Vestvagøy lies at the visitor’s feet while the midnight sun glides glistening over the Atlantic. The 671-meter-high Skottinden forms an unmistakable pyramid-shaped fixed point for the eye in the south, while the wide plain around Leknes spreads out to the northeast.
