The water finds its way and flows fast and gurgling through the stony creek bed, while the snow puts white caps on the surrounding rocks. To all this, the rain on this motif leaves strings against the dark background of the stones.
Everything seems to be in flux and in motion and yet this image radiates a natural serenity and tranquility. The cool colors of the water and snow contrast with the warm tones of the rocks to create an extraordinary mood, and the longer exposure time of the stream creates the impression that the water is actually flowing. If you listen carefully, you might even be able to hear the babbling of the brook.
