The 2069 m high Haut de Cry towers unmistakably above the Rhone Valley in the Valais. Shapely and majestic, the mountain rises and forms a beautiful pyramid, whether in spring, summer, autumn or winter. Our picture was taken in autumn, when the larch forests in the Lower Valais have already turned yellow. With the first snow just left on the needles and leaves of the trees, the result is a unique color mood, which is further emphasized by the striking snow line.
