Far off the west coast of Norway in the district of Møre og Romsdal lies this small island in the Atlantic Ocean. With only a few buildings, including a lighthouse, it defies the harsh conditions of the Norwegian Atlantic coast. Viewed from the mainland, the island looks tiny; only when photographed with a telephoto lens do the details really come into their own.
The sky glows in various colors as the sun sets that evening. Veils of clouds move along the sky and give the scenery something magical. The sea is calm and smooth, there is only a light wind, which hardly provides any swell.
