The Trubelstock is an almost three-thousand-meter peak in the Valais, high above the Rhone Valley. At 2999 meters, it wasn't quite enough to break the magic barrier. But this does not detract from the stunning view from this mountain, because the view of the highest peaks in the Valais to the south, such as the Matterhorn, Dent d'Hérens, Weisshorn and many others, is simply overwhelming.
On this day, the striking summit structure is partially shrouded in clouds and at the same time illuminated by the winter sun. Many areas are still in the shade because it is early morning and the sun still has a long way to go.
