While there is still snow on the high mountains, the Rhône Valley is already enjoying a glorious spring. We start at Leuk railroad station and climb up to the picturesque old town of Leuk Stadt and on to the impressive satellite dishes. Further up, we hike through the former forest fire area, where the early bloomers find plenty of light and a very special flora prevails. On a high-level trail - over the Varner ladders back to Leuk.

We are mostly on yellow marked hiking trails, but you should still be sure-footed enough.

Join us for our day hike from Leuk to Albinen and further.
Easy terrain with good paths such as forest roads and easy hiking trails. Slightly exposed sections are very well secured.
You should have the stamina for hikes of up to 4 hours and/or ascents and descents of around 900 meters in altitude.
We are on hiking trails with a maximum difficulty of T2 according to the SAC scale. The path is steep in a few places, but not exposed.
